Instrument Petting Zoo In-Person
Join the Upper Valley Music Center at Howe Library and get your hands on an instrument. There will be instruments of all shapes and sizes for you to try and explore. We’ll have child-sized stringed instruments so that little ones can have the right fit, and interesting options for adults as well! This event will also include wind and brass instruments, harps from the Vermont Harp Center, and percussion. No registration is required. Please note that this program will end promptly at 5pm to accommodate the library's closing time.
The event will be held in the following rooms. Feel free to visit them all!
- Mayer Room: Violin family instruments, with Vermont Violins & volunteers
- Murray Room: other stringed instruments, with harps, guitars, etc; and Rachel Clemente, harp instructor & volunteer(s)
- Rotary Room: wind/brass, with Faith Goodness
- Children's Program Room: percussion instruments
