Music In the Library: Dan Freihofer In-Person
Join us in the New Books area for music with Dan Freihofer!
Dan Freihofer plays a blend of bluegrass and country music, mostly from the 50's through the 70's, with an emphasis on songs that tell a story or convey an emotional state more subtle than (most) conventional Rock or Pop songs seem to do.
From Dan:
"I've lived in Lyme, NH, for over 40 years and have found great joy in sharing music with my friends and community. My foundation is on the piano, but I took up guitar and mandolin early on because the instruments are more portable and I love to sing. I guess it all started at 10 years old, when I began watching the Smothers Brothers,Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash, and Hee Haw when they all had variety shows on Network TV!"
This performances is free and open to all and does not require registration.
