Knit Democracy Together In-Person
Knit Democracy Together empowers civically-minded knitters and crafters to strengthen democracy. How? By demystifying the electoral process in fun, engaging maker circles.
We’ll collaborate on making a sculpture of a state capitol. Our process is a metaphor for the collaboration that is at the core of a strong representative democracy.
While crafting, we’ll talk about how the U.S. electoral system works, how it is threatened, and what we an do about it.
