DESCRIPTION:Drop-in Tech Help is our quick tech help option at the library. 
 This program is available on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the 
 table behind the reference desk. You will be helped on a first-come\, 
 first-served basis\; no registration is required. Sessions are led by 
 Hartford Area Career & Technology Center Information Technology students. 
 \n\n \n\nWe can help with things such as:\n\n\n	Navigating the Cloud 
 (general Internet use instruction)\n	Password assistance\n	Setting up a new 
 tablet\, smartphone\, laptop\, or similar device\n	Basic computer 
 use\n	Basic smartphone\, tablet\, e-reader\, and app use\n	Research 
 advice\n	How to use the library’s electronic resources\n\n\n \n\nThere is 
 a lot we can help with\, but there are a few things we are unfortunately 
 unable to help with\, including:\n\n\n	Operating system updates\n	Fixing 
 hardware\n	Managing or combating viruses\n	Providing medical\, legal\, and 
 business advice or opinions\n	Keyboarding\, typing\, or proofreading 
 documents\n\n\n \n\nWhen you come for your appointment\, please make sure 
 you have the device\, a power supply\, and all necessary passwords with 
 you.\n\n \n\nPlease note: We will provide advice and assistance to the best 
 of our ability\, but you accept and assume all risk for your files\, 
 devices\, and information. Howe Library\, library staff\, and volunteers 
 are not responsible for lost or damaged files\, damage to other equipment\, 
 or other adverse effects of actions you may take based on advice you
