SUMMARY:Sound Healing and Journey with Heide Scheurer
DESCRIPTION:Join Heide Scheurer for a brief talk on the history\, purpose 
 and physics of sound healing followed by a Sound Journey - a deeply 
 meditative experience where you are immersed in sound waves created by 
 overtone-emitting healing instruments such as Himalayan singing bowls\, 
 gongs\, monochords\, drums\, rattles\, and chimes. Sound healing is 
 tremendously relaxing and can mitigate the many symptoms caused by chronic 
 stress. \n\nSound healing is based on the premise that everything is 
 vibration\, including our bodies. If we vibrate in a chaotic\, unhealthy 
 frequency\, we get ill. Introducing consistent\, harmonious sound waves 
 into our electro-magnetic fields and bodies entrains our own frequencies\, 
 which helps us heal and stay healthy.\n\nNo registration needed for this 
 in-person event. For the best experience\, please bring a mat or cushion 
 and a blanket so that you can comfortably lie on the floor. Attendees are 
 also welcome to remain seated and participate in the way that feels most 
 comfortable for them.\n\nHeide Scheurer is the owner and operator of Sound 
 Haven Vermont in Chelsea VT\, where she offers sound\, crystal\, and energy 
 healing modalities as well as massage. Heide started working with sound 
 over ten years ago when she received a profound sound healing after the
