VINS : $5.00 admission per person for up to 4 people; children under 3 free. Masks are encouraged, but not required. We highly recommend prepurchasing your admission tickets. We welcome all walk-ins. If you are a VINS Member, please show your photo ID along with your Membership card when you arrive at the nature center. To use an EBT Card (VT or NH), Medicaid Card, or your Library's VINS Membership Card, please show your card and purchase tickets upon entry. All exhibits (including the Forest Canopy Walk) are included with general admission
A fee will be added to your account if you fail to pick up your reserved pass.The pass is valid for the date of reservation only and cannot be re-used. The VINS pass must be picked up the day before or day of use. Pick up the pass at the information desk at Howe Library. This pass is a laminated card in a bag that must be returned to the library the day that you use the pass. If the library is closed when you arrive back to the library to return the pass, you may drop the pass in one of the library's drop slots next to the library doors. This pass must be returned to Howe Library, not the Etna Library.

Friday 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
Fee for non-pickup: $5.00
Late fee: $5.00 per day; maximum of $20.00
Lost pass: $20.00 ($15.00 replacement fee, plus a $5.00 processing fee
You may have only one pass per museum per family per day. Please visit https://vinsweb.org/visit/ for up-to-date safety protocols and requirements.
Booking instructions:
1. Select the date you wish to visit the musuem with the "Go To Date" button below.
2. Tap or click on the green block for the day you wish to visit the museum. Tap or click "Add to Cart & Checkout." Select "Continue" on the Booking Details page, and fill out the form with your library card number to submit your request. Be sure to check your email inbox for confirmation. The returnable pass is due back to Howe Library before opening the day after your visit. If the library is closed when you return back, you may place the returnable pass in its bag in the drop bins at the library's door.
