General admission tickets are no longer timed-entry, but special ticketed exhibitions require a timed-entry ticket. We strongly recommend reserving a ticket in advance. We look forward to welcoming you to the MFA soon!Children 6 and under are admitted free. Each pass allows admission for 2 adults at $10 each (general admission and special exhibition) and up to 4 children ages 7 - 17 at $10 each (special exhibition only). There is no discount for children 7-17 for general admission.
Museum passes may be picked up during library hours or contact library for info on promo code:
Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
You may have only one pass per museum per family per day.
This pass is a paper coupon and does not need to be returned to Howe Library after use.
Booking instructions:
1. Select the date you wish to visit the musuem with the "Go To Date" button below.
2. Then select the 10:00 AM time block for the day you wish to visit the museum (don't worry, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM time block is just used as a place holder for that day, you can visit the museum during any of their open hours). If the 10:00 AM time block is red, that means the museum pass is not available for that day. You may try a different pass or a different day.
3. After you selected the 10:00 AM time block, click or tap on "Add to Cart & Checkout." Select "Continue" on the Booking Details page, and fill out the form with your library card number to submit your request. Be sure to check your email inbox for confirmation.
