Heart Health and Blood Pressure Basics In-Person / Online
Join us for the launch of a new blood pressure initiative at the Howe Library! Caitlin Price will be discussing heart health and blood pressure basics, including what blood pressure is, how to measure your blood pressure, how to interpret the readings, and next steps to take based on the readings. We'll also discuss lifestyle changes for preventing and managing high blood pressure including Life's Essential 8 - the Heart Association's 8 step checklist for longer, healthier lives. We encourage you to stick around and check your own numbers using one of the Howe's new blood pressure monitors!
This program will be held in the Mayer Room, and is hybrid. No registration is required to attend in person. To attend by Zoom, register here to receive the invitation.
